The main focus of the exhibition Infobalt 2003 will be on the joint stands of different countries and visitors-professionals from abroad. Business missions to Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Kaliningrad region, Poland and Germany are planned. The aim of the missions is to introduce the week of Information Society Technology to the representatives of the  companies and the mass media and to invite them to visit or participate in the exhibition.

In the exhibition Infobalt 2003, the projects that were positively evaluated by the participants and the visitors will be continued:

  • virtual exhibition Infobalt on the Internet – the portal www.infobalt2003.lt. Here the latest textual, graphical and video information about the exhibition will be available.
  • new topics will be reflected in the commerce and entertainment pavilion “E-Future”. Multimedia, Internet and computer games and ITT employment exchange will be presented here, as well as pilot projects made by the on-stream companies.
  • Infobalt VIP club uniting the old-timers and quests of the exhibition will be open. Last year, the guests of the club were the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus, the Chairperson of the Parliament Artūras Paulauskas, the Prime Minister Algirdas Brazauskas, representatives from the Government and the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, officials from the state institutions, well-known businessmen and media men.
  • a system of registering and ordering the tickets on the Internet will allow the participants of the exhibition to get the information about the professionals that will have already visited the exhibition.
